Close to LaPrade's Marina, rent boats, enjoy restaurants, visit Moccasin Creek Fish Hatchery, not far from the Appalachian Trail. Relax on the porch with your morning coffee or come back from a day of hiking and layback in the hot tub and watch the stars come out!
Although Overlook cabin has no lake access, guests can use either of two nearby marinas to store boats, rent boats or fish at Moccasin Creek State Park. Guests will need to have a Georgia fishing license. Contact La Prades Marina for launching and overnight boat slip information. Launch fees are $5 per day. To leave a boat on a trailer at La Prades there is a cost of $10 daily or the cost of an overnight slip is $25 nightly. The Overlook cabin is 10 minutes (4 miles) from LaPrade's Marina.
This newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin has been lovingly restored with all new appliances. Stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher & large kitchen sink. Bar with 2 stools in kitchen for casual dining or outside dining on deck with table and 6 chairs.
The living room has a fireplace with remote controlled gas logs for winter use and TV for cozy evenings in the cabin. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms have TVs and ceiling fans. The owner has provided a stackable washer & dryer for guests.
